I.C.E. FEATURES
All ICE activities are aligned with CA State Standards and compliment teacher's existing curriculum
All ICE presentations feature learning activities designed by the Exploratorium®.
Trained Edventure More! staff lead each presentation.
ICE's take approximately one class period, but can be modified according to class time constraints.
The cost is only $120 per classroom of up to 30 students.
All reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
We can also tailor presentations to suit teacher's specific needs that may not be listed.

I.C.E. Format
Total Time: 1 hour

Introduction (10 Minutes)
We introduce who we are, lead a fun classroom warm up, followed by a classroom discussion about the topic we will be covering with the experiment. Generally this involves lots of question asking and encourages students to use their imaginations

Experiment (40 Minutes)
Edventure More! staff lead students through an experiment or activity, encouraging question-asking and discussion throughout the process. Students are generally asked to hypothesize what they believe might happen and then compare their findings with the ultimate result.

Wrap Up (10 Minutes)
Students review key points about the topic and are encouraged to come up with more real world applications of what they learned. Every student takes home a "Give me MORE!" sheet that summarizes the day's activities and list resources where they can learn more about the topic.

I.C.E. Cost
We try to keep the costs of these presentations as minimal as possible as we consider them part of our service to the community. We ask only that the school or PTA help us cover the costs of running the presentation. We charge $120/classroom of up to 30 students. Let us know what your financial constraints are and we will make every effort to work within your budget.

"Our kids had such a blast with the Stomp Rocket and Explosive Volcano presentations last year that our teachers asked the PTA to fund Edventure More! to do presentations in every single classroom this year!"
